Laos Day 7

Day 7. Bit of a none day for blogging I'm afraid. Up at 04-45 to get the hotel bus to Luang Prabang airport and our flight back to Bangkok. Arrived into Bangkok at 09-15 and, unusually for Bangkok, swiftly cleared immigration and baggage reclaim and picked up our rental vehicle. Bit disappainted with Hertz as the van was extensively damaged and seen better days ( 171000 kms).

Pretty uneventful trip down to Koh Chang. Left Bangkok at 10-15 and arrived at our villa at 16-30, so a long day and early to bed. Weather overcast but still 33C. Lets have a few comments from you followers who haven't done so, it's a bit quiet at this end.

Adventure
The trip so far looks like a real adventure. Bit like walking around Callon estate in Preston!! although the elephant are smaller there, water the same colour though. The photos re really good, but have definitely put me off entering the River Mekong 2013 Triathlon. The quiz questions are a bit too hard for Sue especially after a glass of chablis (or 3). Have a great time on your onward trip in the old van!!

Ran out of space
You've probably started tomorrow now and hopefully had a good rest after travelling. Sounds as though you could do with a bit of grafitti on your van to go with the bash marks and this would make it supercool! Jim making pancakes for 2 girls as L-M has a friend for a sleepover. Knicker drawer and filled it with midnight feast produce.....Hazel you would be horrified but I know as you read this Norman will be trying to get the first flight over here to join in the chocolate feasting. Only problem is Norman you\'d need a \'onesy\' to join the sleepover!Hope today is more exciting and restful and rewarding than your travel day.x
