The soul purpose of travelling back to Chiang Mai yesterday was to be able to continue the travelling onto Chiang rai today. So, catching a songtheaw to the bus station Jenna and I then got a bus north east to Chiang rai. Arriving 4hrs later to a very hot and busy bus station we walked to find the hostel we had made a note of. Chiang rai isn't that big and we found it quite easily. We headed out to have a walk around the town where I brought a few provisions, booked a tour for tomorrow ( which would also incorporate getting my visa re stamped) and had some dinner. Later in the evening the heavens opened and it rained very heavily, so deciding not to go to the night market we stayed dry at the hostel and relaxed for the evening.
