Bangkok Shmangkok is all i have to say.

If you want Thailand go to Pai, its like sooo cool and stuff. The journey up was pretty tough as the road goes round in a sort of verticle snake like way.I had no idea where we were when i woke up halfway through wirh jungle on either side. The ride wasn'tgood for the stomach but we did watch Ice Age 2 or 1 or 3 with random subgtitles that seemed to translate anything the characters said into mind boggling asian philosophy. One in a life time....

Ok so we've been here a few days but leaving on sunday which is sad 'cause Pai is lovely.

The only problem with the place is that its in a valley surrounded by mountains, so if you want to get anywhere cool outside the town you need a moped.

I am terrified of the things but lucy isnt.

At first i though i would get a mountain bike and tough it out, but half way (ifthat)to the waterfall 7km out of town, and up the mountain, i felt like Bob Hoskins was in my stomach and wanted out!

We found a remedy to this: by attatching a handy towel to the rear of lucy's moped and to the front of my bike, the uphill journey became peasy...

Well fun on the way down as well:)

I'm getting livid at this computer so i better say so long before i have to be escorted to the embassy.

Missing you all a million an then some!

just to add...
i did attempt a mountain bike as a kind of compromise - but in 35 degree heat and not feeling at my complete fittest cycling up a mountain just wasnt for me... after 15 minutes and my face becoming a nice shade of purple i decided the nice moped - which - mum - dont be worried is more like an old persons mobility scooter.... was more for me... also the roads out here prohibit cars and its a hippy town so we only tend to go about 10 mph... I'm being careful.... xxxxxx love you all lots!
