Jess here...

We've just had the craziest train journey ever on the night train from bangkok to Chiang Mai- 14 hours. There was this 'party cabin' on board, serving buckets (this appears to be thailand's favourite drink) and playing cheesy pop music. The whole experience was a bit surreal. The train stopped in the middle of nowhere, and we're in this tiny carriage with disco lights and music! Had a wander around Chiang Mai and we'll be going to a massive temple soon (about 350-400 steps high) where there should be good views.

Whilst in Chiang Mai, me, Ali and Vicky decided on a trip to the local cooking school where we learnt to cook 3 main dishes and a dessert.
