Jess here... We've just had the craziest train journey ever on the night train from bangkok to Chiang Mai- 14 hours. There was this 'party cabin' on board, serving buckets (this appears to be thailand's favourite drink) and playing cheesy pop music. The whole experience was a bit surreal.
