Ko Samet

Enjoying relaxing on the island of Ko Samet at the moment, but it didn't start off like that! A journey by bus which was supposed to take 4 hours ended up taking 8. No one is in a rush around Thailand (apart from Bangkok) No one cares that you've been waiting an hour for a boat to leave. Anyway no need stressing! Jason banged his head whilst getting off the boat but unfortunately I missed it but all the Thai's thought it was hillarious! As we didn't get here til late on the first night we stayed in the first and last place available which was literally a shed on stilts!! It cost 200baht which is about 3 pounds. All it had was a fan, a bed and millions of creepy crawlies!!! I didn't sleep a wink as was petrified a lizard was goin to crawl into my mouth! (which it nearly did but luckily hit the mosquito net!) Sorry Heidi I don't want to disappoint you but im not ready to rough it that much yet! We are staying in a insect freeish bungalow now! Have ended up staying here bit longer than anticipated as Jason has been feeling poorly, At first jason thought it was Malaria (even though we have been takin our tablets, mum) , then he thought he had bird flu, then Chicken Pox! but I personally think he wanted some nursing and he had a bit of heat stroke! We have had a Thai massage- Ouch! don't think we'll be havin any more of them. Well we are off to the beach now, chat soon. Hope everyone's well***

this woman was selling chicken that she barbequed in her baskets, looking closer at the baskets there were cockroaches everywhere, we decided not to have any chicken
