A Welcome Mattress

We transferred planes in Tokyo, and after another seven-hour flight, we landed in Bangkok shortly before midnight on Thursday. We checked into the Royal Orchid Sheraton in Bangkok, which had a very large Christmas tree which made us happy since we did not want to miss the holiday. We had a beautiful room overlooking the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. We checked the view, the room and fell asleep. It was nearly 2:00am when we got into bed, so sleep came easily.
