Hi everyone! It's only taken me two weeks to start blogging...we've been very busy cooking, eating and relaxing with limited wifi access... Finally after another long countdown, the three of us, as a family, are heading back to Nepal! This year we'll be trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp. Gav and I have trekked this route before however, it will be Mia's first time on this path, but her 2nd Nepal trek after doing the Poon Hill trek a couple of years ago. Thanks to our gorgeous friends, we'll also be visiting a couple of children's homes to drop off great quality 2nd hand clothing to help the less fortunate kids. We could work out most but the first and third left us confused and giggling.... We found out later that the first is No Water Buffalo (as if) and the third...

Our day off cooking, so we went shopping and eating! Pork noodle soup (ok...nothing like the amazing one I had later in a local soup kitchen on Koh Phangan) Papaya Salad(delicious - garlic and chili overload!) Crispy pork and stir fried kale (we loved this so learned to make it later when we did our private cooking class the next day)

Not the ones you wanted - believe me, I have been looking and asking everywhere! No one uses them here in Thailand! I did find some silver cutlery I want to buy myself. When I am back there (18th) I'll SMS you a photo to see if you like them. About $4 a piece and really nice (forks and spoons). They also have matching water jugs, bowls etc... And yes, we'll cook you some yummy food when back home!
