Nice looking Wat don't you think?
Today we went back along the river to Wat Pho, quite close to the Grand Palace, but we were far too hot yesterday to visit both at once. Wat Pho is the home to the famous reclining Buddha, which is massive at 46m long and about 15m high. The Wat itself is quite similar in decoration to the grand palace, with intricate artwork on the internal walls and elaborate golden decoration on the outside. Unlike the emerald Buddha, the reclining Buddha is much bigger than we imagined, it is quite intimidating really.

After wandering around Wat Pho for a while, we were getting hot again so headed back to our hotel. After a spot of lunch and a dip in the pool, we set about the task of researching possible accomodation on Koh Samui, I think we've narrowed it down to about 6 possibilities! We'll see what happens when we get there on Monday morning.

Later on we went back to Koh San Road with the task of buying a T-Shirt for Pete as his others were all getting a bit smelly. So Pete found one he liked and tested his haggling skills which turned out to be no

It's chuffing huge!
better than Becca's as he got the same discount from 180 Bhat to 160!

We spent the evening in a bar (of course) chilling out and sampling some more of the local ale.
