On a longboat discovering Bangkok famous klongs (canals)
Up bright and early, breakfast is "American style" which is noodles, soup, eggs, pancakes and fruit... what a combination. We catch a river boat down the river to the famous "Wat Po" reclining Buddha where we meet our CRAZY Thai tour guide with dodgy teeth, who kept saying we would live to 108 years.

Afterwards we visit the Grand Palace where the King and Queen use to live, who the Thai absolutely worship. Dress code is strict and consists of literally covering every part of your body. The heavens pour and our cab ride home is one to remember shall we say, involving a stop over at a jewellery shop & an hour ride instead of 10 mins.

We board the train to Chang Mai which is an overnight train journey of 15 hours and geez you can imagine what the toliets looked like.

Night, night...............
