I'm ready to go! (It's a small bag really!!)Yo! Yo! i'm here!! alive and well!!!
Tuesday 28th February 2006 ARRIVE!!!! Bangkok, Thailand
How crazy is this - when you land into Bangkok there's a golf course in the middle!!! There were people with parasols and it was so green! Not quite what I was expecting but to be honest I have no idea what I was expecting!
... i did have a room booked for when i arrived but the bus took about 2 hours to get to khoa san road (which is a lot mellower than i was expecting!! - praps its the travels to egypt and kenya that mean that this is nothing in comparison!!) annyyyways getting off the bus me and this aussie girl jeanette started talking and she hadnt booked anything and was here first time here so we trapsed round for quite a long time - soooo hot!! we eventually found somewhere but it wasnt fab but i really could have slept on the floor i was so spaced!!! - what with only having a little sleep on the plane..!! next day we went up market and got a deulux twin room with fridge, en suite, tv and everything!!

How cool! - Pink taxi's!! kinda seemin a bit more real now but still like i'm just on a two week holiday!! - to be fair i was just so tired from just the whole build up that i've needed a few days to recover... first few days were a bit tough with the lack of sleep so i decided i couldnt read peoples emails!! he!he!!
Right... words to sum up Bangkok - colour! Check out the pink taxi!!!! and I made sure I rode in one! - had to be done!!! he!he!

Local bus to the siam centre (MBK)... then khoa san road...
jeanette is a shopping queen as shes been travelling two months and is loving the new clothes!! so i've been converted and so far have two pairs of fisherman pants!! ( TWO!!?? wot am i going to do with two!!?? o and i got a red pair of berkinstocks so am lovin them!! got a sarong that was needed and phew..!!!
o tried to do the bargining thing - the first one i did they went yeah ok at my first offer!! then the same happened on the second!!! need to go
