The night train was cool, the restaurant carriage turned into a disco at night and was full of drunk polish people, we stupidly squeezed through to realise that we had to go back, definitely an experience to remember. Later we talked to some old Thai ladies, they thought me and Kim were 40! i mean come on, maybe 30 at a push but 40?!?! Kim's not that wrinkly, yet.
So we arrived at the Bangkok Centre Hotel for the last time, the same hotel we'd left a month ago. We were starving so went for breakfast, and after we hunted out a river taxi to get to Wat Arun.
Wat Arun is huge and sits right on the river side, you can climb to the top but the steps are so steep and close together i was shitting myself all the way up! But the views were definitely worth it.
Afterwards we re-crossed the river and went to the temple of the reclining Buddha, it's huge! 46 metres long and 15 metres high, and it's bright gold! It's being renovated and for a small donation we got to write our names on a roof tile thats being put
on the roof.
After we got back on the water taxi to kho san road, backpackers heaven. We somehow managed to escape paying for this one, which is good as it was more expensive than the 1st. This place changed my mind about Bangkok, i used to hate the hustle and bustle with everyone trying to rip u off, mind everyone was on kho san road but it was so cool you didn't care.
After a quick lunch we searched for tomorrow nights accommodation, eventually settling on Marco polo hostel. it was cheap and looked o.k. the guy didn't seem to understand what we wanted but it worked out fine.
As usual we had a beer and relaxed playing pool, before heading back to the hotel to change for tonights very last meal.
Whilst waiting for our tea to arrive we booked our trip to Koh Phangan, so excited for the full moon party.
After tea we all went to a ping pong show, it cost 600 baht (12 quid) and we ended up in some seedy backstreet in a club full of business men, the girls got up on stage did there thing then disappeared, pulling such objects as
40 foot long ribbon with real razors on it out there lady garden, on girl opened a bottle with hers whilst another smoked a cigarette. The whole thing weren't sexy or erotic it was just weird. But on the otherhand our tuk tuk driver was mental, hitting 70 mph and not slowing for junctions. We held on for our life.

We checked out after breakfast and headed over to koh san road to check in at Marco polo's. We spent the day looking around the stalls that line the streets and didn't really buy anything except some new flip flops for me, fake havianna's are a plenty. We were bored so started drinking at 6, bad idea but it was paddy's day. Between the 3 of us we were drinking 5.5 litre towers of Chang beer and by the end of the night we'd had 2 and several more cocktails. Christina was a mess and we sent her home in a taxi with her roommate , we decided to call it a night aswell and got pad thai from a street vendor as our drunken takeaway, it was amazing.

Today we were leaving for Koh Phangan but had until 6 to hang around, we dumped our bags in the travel agency and went to Macdonalds for a double big mac meal, damn tasty. Kim bought herself some baggy trousers that everyone wheres out here and we wandered around looking at the same stalls as yesterday. We ate dinner at the same pad thai stall as the night before and went to 7-eleven to get drinks and snacks for our night bus. We met at 6 to leave and were still sat on the bus at 8. The bus then decided we needed heavy trance music for an hour before letting us all sleep.
