Bangkok 9th - 13th May 2006 Well we made to Bangkok - No upgrade on the flight but no problem plenty of room to spread out and try and get some sleep. Bartered our way into a taxi and were safely delivered to Sofitel Silom. WOW! What an amazing start to your travels. Several days living in the lap of luxury was just what you both needed. What an amazing view from you hotel room and awesome Thai relics plus a wee story to tell makes for exciting reading. Longing for the next chapter. Magic blog, good to hear how you're getting on. Sounds like you're piling on the experiences! Bangkok sounds beautiful but hectic, hope you have some nice 'down time' in Surat Thani.
