hey every one!! we have landed in bangkok, only 1/2 hour late so it wasnt too bad. its a mad mad city! absolutly crazy! it is unbelievably hot over here!! we were met at the airport by a lady with a driver, and were wisked offin our own private mini bus to our hotel!!!!!!!!!!!
which ws lovely after the 12 hour flight! even our backapcks were carried up to our room! very nice, we had some lovely dinner in the new shopping complex they hve built, and it was lovely. then today we explored the grand palace, and were taken there by a tuk tuk, mad crazy drivers who make up their own rules as they go along. ened up in some random place of bangkok but then hopped in a taxi to the palace. Every thing is so cheap out here, we payed about 3 pounds for our meal tonight, thats for 2 meals and drink!


tomorrow were moving on, we have our whole hol planned out now! hotels, beach bungalows, the lot!! tomorrow were getting the train up to Aythuaya, which is the old capital id thailand, dating back to C18, then off the to the beaches as planned, krabi first. We have really nice places all the way round! no expence spared!

were both taking lots of photos but cleverly managed to forget the lead for our camera's to computer! so photos will have to wait untill we get home, but the grand palace wasted a lot of shots!!

the hotel were in for the first two nights here in bangkok is interesting, very "wanna be" posh but not quite there, we even have 2 outdoor swimming pools! one on the roof! with a view! Rah!

Our phone(well harriets, cuz i didnt bring mine) does not work out here, Dohhhh! but never mind, we'll try get to the net one or twice a week to update this site!
