Day 14 - Pattaya/Bangkok
After catching up on some sleep we went parasailing in the morning. We negotiated a "special price" for 900thb for 3 of us which was good considering it was 500thb for a single person. It was my first parasailing experience and I was lucky I did not get wet but at one stage I thought I was going to miss the landing platform and end up in the water.

We had some breakfast at McDonalds and spotted Colonel Sanders himself. No idea what he was doing in Maccas, maybe he was checking out their special sauce or prefers their food. After spotting Elvis and Colonel Sanders we kept our eyes out for Tupac and Michael Jackson but we did not see them. Maybe they retired to a different island 😞 If anybody wants McDonalds delivered let me know, every maccas here does delivery.

After parasailing we found a taxi to take us back to BKK after 30 mins of bargaining. The driver was not impressed after Justin spilled coke everywhere in the back for no reason (Pepsi and myself may have been having a thumb war for a cheeseburger meal while Justin was sitting in the middle but I am sure that could not have been the reason 😉 ). When we arrived in BKK we checked into our hotel which is in the famous Khaosan Rd. Khaosan Road is famous for backpackers and everything fake.
We wondered around and looked at all the dodgy gear. Pepsi bought a couple of shirts and after bargaining at 5 different shops for 50 minutes he ended up paying the same price anyway.

We went pack to get our diddy suits but Pepsi's did not fit properly (he ate too much at Yum Cha the day before). Justin had his first ride in a tuk tuk and made it our alive after the driver turned into a major road going the wrong way so he could turn around. From here we went to the massive MBK shopping centre to have a look around. Justin got taken to the cleaners here and paid 650thb for a 4gb micro sd card. We later found the same card at Khaosan Road for 500thb before negotiations. Justin had road rage !! Pepsi paid 150thb for some dvds which we later saw on Khaosan Road for 100thb each.

I tried to get Justin to ask for

At night time we checked out the Khaosan night market. I lost a 3 way rock paper scissors bet so I had to eat a deep fried scorpion. It was not too bad except I spent the next hour trying to get all the little bits out of my teeth. Unfortunately there was no camera so there are no pics.
