Just writing this as i wait for a night train up to chiang mai where i'll be jungle trecking fo a few days so will probably have no internet access.
Had an amazing time in Kanchanaburi, was sad to see the back of the khaosan road as, despite the constant noise, heat and odd pollustion smells, i had met some nice people there but the trip west to knchanaburi was so worth it.
Stayed on a guest house in the river, it was really peaceful. Spent yesterday seeing the bridge over the river kwai, taking a train ride on an oldy style train and then visiting the tiger temple. There were loads of animals aside from tigers but they were the most awesome. Went to this cute waterfall and then back to the raft guesthouse where we all played cards late into the night.
Woke up this morning to the rocking of the guesthouse, the sound of waves and an amazing view. Then i went bamboo rafting and then rode on an elephant called Sandy. Visited hellfire pass and then was taken back to bangkok.
Was such an amazing two days and all the people staing at
the guesthouse were really nice.
Am looking forward to northern thailand and hope it's as amazing as the last two days have been. Will try to upload some photos and will update in a few days.

Wow! judging by your pictures Thailand most certainly beats work in England! lol - u missed snow btw! Pics are amazing - tigers are awesome!! altho couldn't help thinking that certain Thai people should step out of the picture! Maybe u cud erase them later! haha! Love the beers and card game on ur 2nd or 3rd?? night there! start as u mean to carry on! lol. Love u xxx
