Bangkok part 2

So we are still here...4 days total.
and believe me that is enough time to be here.
We got to a place called Khan San, which in our guide book calls it a mecca for backpackers.
and believe me they are everywhere.
Dave had his blue Phillies shirt on and we were walking down a random street and some guy started calpping. They were from Philly and the girl he was with was from the Poconos. So small town, they were nice and wanted us to sit down and have a drink with them, but we declined.
There are street vendors all over the place, selling lots of tshirts, jewlery and even saw people selling DENTURES.
we were dying seeing that!! dave and i got a tshirt...so we have a clean one to wear tomorrow!!
the last 2 days we have really just been walking around and eating and last night we splurged and drank 600 bhat worth of Thai beer, which is like 20 bucks. the beer is strong and we both woke up with massive hangovers.
the guesthouse we are staying in, which is right on the main street, has a roof top pool and we sat by there today for a while. we needed a peaceful relaxing afternoon cause the streets are crazy and at times can be overwhelming.
tonight seems to be a bigger party night, there is music blasting everywhere, clubs haev women that are barely dressed trying to get you to go in and there is of course tuk tuk drivers trying to get you to go to a ping pong show...use your imagination people.
its been really fun, but we are leaving for Pattaya tomorrow. Daves friend may be organizing a ride for us, if not we will get the train down. its not far i think will take like 1hr 30 min.

you have to barter for the price, and they try to take you to other stores its kinda annoying, but cheap
