Dear Readers - Yesterday was interesting in that we found a new market . We got some new reader glasses which were inexpensive. This was a market for locals and much different than the markets that you find for tourists. We ate gelato from a little stall that was delicious and cooling. On the way back to the hotel we stopped at a massage shop so Jim could get a foot massage and I got new polish on my toes. We may go back today so we can both get a foot massage.
The Songkran (water) festival starts tomorrow so we are looking forward to experiencing and observing the activities. It is apparently one big water fight so you can get wet when you are out and about. It lasts 3-4 days.
We are heading to Koh Samui on April 15 and are looking forward to several days of beach time. We will fly down and take the night train back on April 27. After that we should have our visas and can then fly to Viet Nam. We will be in Viet Nam a couple of weeks before flying out of Hanoi to Laos.

Good to see you!
I'm sure the foot massage was a treat. I like the idea of a water holiday and think you should get that going here in the states! It's great to see you in picture form anyway. Much Love, Kim
