Today we finally made some plans for the next few weeks. We went to a Travel Information of Thailand agency to get started on our Visas for Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, and Burma. While waiting for those we will be flying to Koh Samui on the 15th of April and will stay until the 25th. This should give us plenty of time to climatize. When we get back to Bangkok we will pick up our visas and head for Viet Nam for a couple of weeks. We will fly out of Hanoi for Laos for about three days. We are planning to take a two day boat trip to Chang Rai for three more days and then catch a bus to Chang Mai. After spending time there we will take a day train back to Bangkok. We should get back there May 29.
WE checked at the tailor shop last night for Jim's clothes. They have done a wonderful job so far and will pick up tonight. Also going to China Town to purchase some suicide knobs for both of our steering wheels. These are illegal in the US but available here. Will also look for other gadgets while there.
We are starting this blog so we can learn how to load our pictures.
So far no success. Will try again later. We have spent 45 minutes trying.
As you can see we finally have succeeded in downloading a couple of pictures. The process has been time consuming. The next step will be to speed up the process if we can learn how.
