bangkok!!

im in bangkok and ive got a cold...a cold in bangkok??? how does that work??? think its something to do with the joys of air conditioning in our hotel - hmmmm!!
anyways me and kia arrived on wednesday night, found our hotel and had a wander down khao san road...then on thursday we hit the shops - oh yes!!! we went to the MBK centre and then to a few others in siam square!! such good shopping but i didnt buy too much - just 2 pairs of diesel jeans, a ralph lauren polo shirt, a couple of funky tshirts, an "im not a plastic bag" bag, dior sunglasses, some underwear - not much really eh??? quite reserved for me in fact!!! did see a fab digital camera - a sony cybershot (coz my camera broke the day i got here - doh!!!) so im thinking about getting it - in the UK its 249.99quid and here i could get it for just over a hundred - BARGAINO!!!
jo and chelsea came up last night so today we're doing the sightseeing - the palace, the big buddha in chinatown etc etc...dad sent me and christopher on a tour when we were here 7 years ago so i cant really remember them so it'll be good to see them all again!!!
heading back to chumphon on sunday and then will commence my journey home to glasgow on thursday 23rd - will get the train up during the day and head to the airport in time for my flight at 2.30am on friday morning!!!
