not a pan cake

Hi Everyone -

Thanks to everyone who responded to our blog about food. Roti Canai is a delicious food that we were told is a Malaysian dish of Indian origin. It is not a pan cake. However, some vendors call it a banana pan cake in local tourist areas for the sake of catering to the english speaking foreigners. We appreciate the correction as it is an important one.
