This morning we did our final packing, trying to jam everything in the suitcases as per usual then went down for breakfast. We checked out of our room and left our bags in the lobby, then went to the underground as our final day was going to be adventurous!! We got off the train near a shopping centre but because we were up early, nothing was opened so we found a place to have coffee and waited a bit then we found a few shops that were opened. We found the shopping centre that has a huge Ferris Wheel and went and bought tickets. This Ferris Wheel started on the 5th floor so from the ground, it was very high up. There wasn't very many people around today, maybe it was still too early! We boarded ourlittle booth and doors were locked. then we started slowly going up, and up,and up, withgreat views, but it would have been better with clear skies and no smog!! The Ferris Wheel went very slowly which was good as it gave you enough time to have a good look around. Once we were back at the start, we walked through the floors of the shopping centre, still hardly anyone around, I was thinking "how do they make money if there is no customers?" We had an early lunch, then caught the train back to our Hotel to get ready as we were getting a taxi to the airport. The weather seemed to be changing, it had gone from raining to alot of rain all the way to the airport.
We made it to the airport with plenty of time to spare, we checked in and looked in just about every shop, trying to use up some time.
We went to our gate, as it was nearing 4.30pm, our flight was 5.35pm. at 5pm, there was still no plane at the gate we were waiting at, I went to the screen to see why everyone was standing looking at it and the flight to everywhere said "Cancelled", all outgoing flights cancelled!Well this wasn't good, not knowing why, we all had to wait patiently until the Airline eventually came and handed out letters, saying "due to Weather conditions in Taipei, the plane has been diverted." We were then told the flight will now be at 8.20pm. They told us our boarding passes will give us $250NT for food vouchers each. Finally now knowing what was happening, we headed to the Food Court, I ordered Dumplings and Clint had some type of Beef Soup

Plane delayed due to bad weather, departure was originally 5.35pm delayed till 8.20pm then to 8.50pm then after queuing in line for take off until 10.06pm we eventually took off bound for Singapore
