Hello friends My stay here is almost finish; I am leaving korea the next october, 7th. After 2 month holidays and visiting... Maybe I didn't tell you : Ahyoung and me are now fiance! I poped the question the last 20 th of october and she said YES !!! The 2 last weekend, we went to the countryside. Here are the picture of the first weekend. It was in Yongin, we went to visit Ahyoung's cousin and her husband. They live on a hill, in the midlle of the trees and the bird.It was really good stay!... read more

Well, I got out of the 'prison camp' and into Seoul for part of the weekend...what a relief! We finished teaching at 6pm on Saturday and the bus left the campus for Seoul at 6.30pm. After arriving in Seoul we went straight to our accomodation which was a hostel. There, we managed to find some of the only other Australians in South Korea! We then went out to Dondaemun, which is a massive market area. This area has lots of 5-10 storey shopping markets that are open until 5am! :o) Yay for late night shopping! I didn't buy much, except some 'genuine' adidas sneakers...for $40 :o) No way to tell that they aren't real tho... Well, today it is snowing outside! I have never been in falling snow before and I am loving it!!! :o) We are teaching a full day today (yes, it is saturday and we are working from 7.30am until 8pm) and then we are heading into Seoul after work. The university here is putting on a bus to take us in tonight and so we should be in there by 9pm-ish...just in time for the all night markets!! Our typical day (all days are the same as we have quite a strict timetable to follow): 7.00am: A very loud wakeup call goes through the whole dormatory (all 6 floors of it) to wake everyone up 7.30am: Have to be outside to get on the mini-van that takes us to work 7.4/7.45am: Get to the School and have ... read more
