We arrived in Singapore at midday. After check-in we took the MRT (Metro) to the station City Hall where we went to the Funam Digital Mall to check out some laptops. After comparing prices, other laptops and various stores we found a new netbook 😊

After that we took a bus to the south and went to another mall called Vivocity in the south which is close to Sentosa Island. However, it was too late to go over.

Sunday, the 9th it was “china time”: We went to see China Town and the Central Business District. In China town there were many food stalls and we had lunch.

In the evening we went to the cinema and watched “The Tourist”.

Our last day we were a bit unlucky: It was raining the whole day. But nevertheless, we decided to go to the orchid garden, however, this was close, so we ended up in the Singapore Zoo, which wasn’t so bad after all. Comparing to a European Zoo, it was a rainforest zoo, where some animals were “free” – there was no fence or electric wire to keep them in their place. ….And finally we saw gibbons, which we didn’t see in the Gibbon Experience in Laos!

Next day our Asia Experience was over and we arrived on a new continent: Australia.
