Low key Sunday, the main activity of the day was attending one of the monthly rug auctions conducted by Hedger's Carpets at the Grand Hyatt - Peter Hedger, owner and auctioneer.

We bought many carpets at auctions when we lived in Singapore, all high quality and very good prices. We weren't in the market for a rug today, but Peter's auction style is highly entertaining and it's a kick to watch first timers get caught up in the bidding. This was the last auction of the year, so attendance was light but people were still buying. Prices have gone up some in the past 5 years, but deals can still be had.
