After a 12hr flight from London Heathrow to Singapore (arrived 0815 local), and with Jon only having an hours sleep the night before we left the UK and a total of 0hrs on the plane - however still managing to watch 5 & something films, we arrive at the airport thinking -
oh f*ck! where do we go!
After 15mins trying to purchase a train ticket into town, we catch a couple of trains to Bugis Station. We found our way to Middle St, both still wearing 2 pairs of socks & trainers and sweating like pigs, up 3 flights of stairs to yet another hostel and again
NO ROOMS!!
We were offered a cheap bed, which turned out to be a mattress on the roof - actually the hostels bar, so no mattress till 10.00............PM!!!! We make out we're gonna go for the roof, have a quick shower, use their email & then set off again to find a travel agent to get a bus to Kuala Lumpur.
