Singapore has been treating me kindly with the weather (well apart from at the moment when its raining but i can't complain as i am inside)...We have been to visit China Town and Little India on our wanderings aroudn the city...i am amused by the tourism here as it reminds me of places that parents take there kids to and school visits when i was younger...really bizarre feeling but quite nice being back to reality and also lots of lovely food.
Now just got a lovely decision of how to get back to Bangkok, i think i am going to try to head back to Phuket on thurs to sat then get the overnight bus up to Bangkok...hopefully 😊...i will keep you all updated and i am sure the news will too 😊

Matters arising...
Good to hear that you are enjoying Singapore, after your initial misgivings. Need a travelogue of what to see and do there, if/when we make it out in that direction. Keep an eye on the situation before you head back to Bangkok: we've heard news today that the Prime Minister is leaving office and that 80 planes were to be allowed to leave, so the ball may start rolling but, presumably, it will take a while to get back to normal and get the thousands of currently stranded tourists out. Many were reported to be heading for KL and Singapore via regional Thai airports, in an attempt to get home. May be better to abandon some of your belongings and leave safely and on time than to find yourself stranded in Bangkok - but things could change quite quickly, I guess. Good luck! Yes! We did have half an hour's flurry of real snow this morning, after a very pretty pink sky and a frosty night. Blue sky and sunshine now, so the snow's disappeared already. We had a super day on Sunday - Open House with fair trade stalls. The place was packed! Reckon we had about 70 people - fed and watered them - Grandma entertained - and they spent loadsa money!
