Chasing the Sun

March 1st - We boarded Singapore Airlines at 12 Noon and 11 hours later (after 2 meals, 3 movies, 5 on-board snacks including ice cream cones) we arrived in Seoul for a one hour layover. The entire journey was sunny and in Korea it was only 5pm. We boarded our connecting flight and we off to Singapore. One more movie, one more meal, 2 more snacks and another ice cream later we arrived in Singapore (after a 19 hour journey). We arrived at 11:30 pm on Sunday local time with no idea what time our own internal clocks were reading. The last subway downtown was at 11pm, so we hopped in a local taxi. Half an hour later our hotel was a welcome surprise as it was very luxurious (and very free thanks to points!!). We were in bed by 12:30am and slept a much needed 8 hours after out long day(s) flying half way around the world to start our honeymoon.
