After a long weary day at the zoo we felt that even more animals were in order so booked ourselves tickets for the night safari.

Gates opened at about 7pm and after watching some fire dancers we took a tram around the park. (The Night Safari is a completely different park with different animals). We drove quietly past various nocturnal animals, including lions, wolves, tigers, elephants, deer, and (my personal favourite) flying squirrels which were very cute! We also went to the Animal Show where we watched owls, wolves, otters, wild cats and snakes 'perform' by running accross the stage.

We ended up bumping into a small group of Canadian guys who were also backpacking so we walked around the rest of the park with them and then all got a taxi to the harbour in the evening where we sat amongst beautiful bars all lit up with fairy lights etc. We then had some cocktails to celebrate our last day in South East Asia!!
