First Entry

Hey everyone 😊

Finally settled in at our first accomodation the Drop Inn which whilst pretty basic is also pretty lively. We arrived here last night after the uncomfortable twelve hour flight but on the plus side did finally get to watch The Damned United, 'tis a bit of quality is that.

First impressions are very good-the trains are like something out of the future all running on time :O and spacious and the weather is nice and sunny and about 30 degrees so the hat and scarf have been bundled to the bottom of the bag for now.

Think tomorrow Tamara and I are going to head fully into Little India and the colonial district and see Raffles Hotel, maybe take in a Singapore sling coctail and ride the Singapore flyer (like the London eye only a whole lot bigger).

Also, on another plus I've managed to avoid jet lag by staying up for 40 or so hours and feel quite refreshed after last nights kip to put me on Singapore time; meaning we had a lot of time last night to do stuff...so we wasted this by going to a Deli to watch Liverpool with an Aussie, a Scouser, two Cockneys and spent little over a fiver all night=gooood times :D

Helloo...
Well I have sent postcards from everywhere although I'm a bit doubtful the Sri Lanka ones will get there tbh I assume about 80 percent goes missing. Ermm Hong Kong and Vietnam should be arriving soon I think posted recently at actual post offices rather than at hotels/guest houses whom said they would do it :/ ....and did the neighbours come to check that you were ok....the car must be delighted its beautiful again :D Much love, James x
