The bus to Pokhara was painful - initially I sat in the front with the driver as it was quite full, and a local woman was worried that my pack was going to squash her chickens. Later on the driver saved me a space at the back. I bumped my head on the bus quite a few times and settled in with my knees tight against the seat in front. The buses look the same as in India but they are a lot smaller. It took 7 hours to go 85km which seemed a little unnecessary... but I got to Pokhara and found a nice place to stay lakeside and relaxed for a few days.
After relaxing by the lake with some Chileans, and some English. Visiting another Japanese Peach Pagoda ( there is one in Battersea Park in London, as well as Leh - Ladakh, Lumbini - Nepal...), boating on Fewa Tal I was ready to do the Annapurna circuit trek which the guides say takes 17-20 days.
