Major Highlights of Langtang Region Trekking
Langtang National Park One of the major attractions in Langtang Region Trekking in Nepal. A great variety of flora and fauna in the park please naturalist immensely during the trip. The trail is almost entirely based on this national park. Musk deer and wild boar are native in this park.

Gosainkunda Gosainkunda is a holy pilgrimage to both Buddhist and Hindu. A huge lake into the lap of mountain aboding a massive rock in the middle of it which is considered to be an incarnation of god Shiva. The lake is entirely frozen during winter.
Transportation No domestic flights connect
Langtang Trekking Region. Neither luxury tourist coaches run in this trekking route. So, we have to go with local bus, jeep or private jeep. Private jeep is the most comfortable among all. Tourists have to travel for more than 8 hours with local transportation from Kathmandu to Dhunche or Syabrubesi. The road up to Trishuli Bazaar is concrete but narrow with numerous bendings. The more we travel further from Trishuli Bazar to Syabru Bensi, the more we get worse country road with landslides and deep gorges. We also enjoy country settlements and some mountain view too.
The
best season to trek in Langtang Region is between March- April, and Sept- November.
The average walking hour is 4-6 and the elevation in average to climb is 300. This region trekking is considered to be one of the mild trekking trails in Nepal.
Cheese Factories and Holy Monasteries
This region trekking is popular for undiluted and hygienic cheese made from yak milk. The Trekkers love to experience it during their trek. We also can visit spiritual and sacred monasteries with serene prayer flags.
