I don't think anything will prepare you for the magnificent Himalaya's. The trek started about 2 hours from Pokhara by minivan. safety in nepal
Hi there. We are planning a trip to hike the annapurna circuit in March. I just read the US state department travel advisory that spoke to the unrest in Nepal and the advise to not trek without a guide or trekking company company. We'd rather hike on our own. What are your feelings of the political and safety climate of Nepal and on the circuit at the moment?
