One of the countires on our list that was of highest priority and believe me it was worth it. Nepal has to be one of the most beautiful places we have ever been to. I can highly (litterally) recommend it to everyone of all ages. The people are so friendly and will give you anything without question. The scenery is truely breathtaking. We left India and it's heat and dust to climb the Himalaya's, take in the fresh air, meet wonderful people, see the wildlife, and taste the Mo Mo's (steamed dumplings), all which we will try and share with you.
Starting in Pokhara, after flying from Delhi to Kathmandu and then a small plane onto Pokhara. We arrived at this sleepy lakeside town, crammed with restaurants and "nepalese" North Face clothes for all of those trekkers, including ourselves, who didn't bring the proper gear for a trek.
It was here that we stayed for our first few days and met our lovely Norwedian family Egil, Metta, Josephina, and Mille-Sofie, who would later put us up in Singapore. We went for a boat trip on the Lake and spent our meals with them. All before our trek for 4 days
in the Himalaya's.
