Day Seven - Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 metres) - 900 metre ascent

Today was the final day of ascent as we went from Deurali to Machapuchare Base Camp and then on to Annapurna Base Camp. Whilst only a steady ascent which would take 4 hours, it was hard work due to the altitude and thin air.

Starting the day we seemed miles from the mountains but they slowly became visible until we finally entered into a cauldron of mountains.

Nearly all the streams were completely or mostly frozen in the morning. They mostly thaw during the day once the sun has hit them for a while.
