We arrived in Malaysia today at 5.30am, after a 6 hour flight.

The drive into Kuala Lumpur took us over 2 hours. The traffic was crazy!! With hundreds of scooters that weave and dodge through the peak hour traffic (where no one lets you know what they are doing!) We felt lucky to arrive at our hotel The Royal Bintang unscathed.

Once we had checked in and checked out the local food we went on a City tour of Kuala Lumpur - visting a Hindu Temple, Chinese Temple, China Town, the Central Markets (were we could have filled 3 more suitcases with cheap goodies), then for a bit of history we stopped at Independence Square and admired some of the Architecture.
