The first time I ever remember mentioning Kuala Lumpur was when my friend Shirley Murphy was going to Australia in 2001 and we were talking about what stop over she had on her journey to Sydney and she said " Aaah some back arse nowhere place called Kuala Lumpur..I'm not even going to bother getting off the plane.....haha!! and I went...huh?? Where the hell is that?"
Myself, Damo & John got the
bus from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) for like a tenner or something, did a whirl wind stop there for a few days, hired a taxi to take us around to all the different things...best and cheapest way of doing things, especially when you are only there for a few days, the
twin towers were pretty AWESOME but to actually get into the towers you had to be up at 7.30am and queue for tickets and well...we were too hungover from the previous night out to get up!! oh well... not the end of the world.
Taxi driver took us to the worlds largest bat cave and holy statue, a butterfly farm which was absolutely AAAAMAZING...NOT.... lol!!!
Of
course we had a good night out in KL...that's what it's all about isn't it and the accommodation was faaaab.....
