Last night we had two new foods that I thought I'd share with you
1) Putu Bambu - A must try! It is a mix of rice flour, palm sugar, salt and pandan leaves. The items are placed inside bamboo and steamed, then finished with coconut and eaten hot, delicious. RM2.50 for 5
2) Roti banana - generally a south asian bread made from stoneground wholemeal flour. Roti is sometimes referred to as "Kolcha" in Indian cuisine and its thinner variant, known as chapati. Basically, whatever you want to call it, it was delicious and served with bananas.
