Kuala Lumpur is a modern and vibrant city. The overwhelming dominance of motorbikes we got used to in Vietnam and Cambodia is gone here, cars have recovered their status. We very much enjoyed seeing the Petronas twin towers, they are the tallest twin towers in the world today, have 88 floors and a total height of 451.9 meters. We are a couple, Benoit and Robson who decided to tour the world for 1 year. This blog was to keep contact with family and friends. Our trip started in April 2009 and we came back home in April 2010. From London we headed east with Istanbul as our first stop. Six months later, in October 2009 we ended up in Brazil where we stayed till April 2010. Skull of the enemy

Even today, the tribe shows much respect to the skull. It is much bigger than any of the others and lies apart. Since they captured the enemy's 'general' peace was made between the two tribes. A tree was planted in each village as symbol of that peace. They used to go and visit their new friends regularly to see if the tree is still there. Should this not be the case, it would have been war again!
