Woke up, had breaky at hotel. They had eggs but no bacon.
After breaky we went straight up-stairs to buy our wrist-bands for the Outdoor Theme Park
We were literally 30 seconds too late and had to wait behind a massive tour group but luckily we were special for some reason and we got escorted to the desk by two ladies and got our wrist bands straight away.
We went on a lot of the rides, the cyclone, giant drop, a double decker merry-go-round, a mono-rail,...
There's a place called Beryls Chocolate world which is really cool. Its got cute little replicas of buildings, and the chocolate making process, heaps of fact posts and three kittens sitting on top of a house. One of the cats was so much like Magpie, they looked the same and this kitten was really shy too.
For lunch we went to a London restaurant, where you ate in a double-decker bus. I had wedges.
The rides we went on were:
OUTDOOR
Thrill Rides
Pirate Ship, Cyclone, Spinner, Space Shot, Flying Dragon
Family Rides
Monorail, Flying Jumbo, Tea Cup, Double Decker Carousel
INDOOR
THRILL RIDES
Euro Express
FAMILY RIDES
Venice Gondola, Rio Float, Reindeer Cruiser, Ferris Wheel, Monorail, Mini Station

As we got our first glimpse of the hotel yesterday, we were disappointed to see that they were re-painting it. It is quite faded and does need a new coat of paint. They have already completed one of the towers and had just started on the front of the other tower. Mel said something along the lines of 'wouldn't it suck to get a room where it's now white'. I guess, you come all this way to stay in this hotel – for no other reason than the colours of the outside walls (as we did) and to find you are in a 'white' section would be a bit of a let-down.
It took me a while but I finally convinced Mel that WE were in that white section. Mind you, to do this, I had to stick my camera and arm out this really tiny window to take photos of the wall. We used to be yellow!!!
The afternoon was spent on more rides and walking around the shopping centre.
For tea we went to a lovely Vietnamese restaurant. You had to cross over the canal on a cute bridge with men steering gondolas underneath. The boats might have been on tracks and the
men ones that don't talk.... or move.... but it was still quaint.
We had a very enjoyable meal there then went on our last rides for the day – a 'thrill ride' as they called it – over the top of the shopping centre and a paddle boat again over the centre.
It is amazing watching the fog here. You can look out the window to a clear view of the valley below and five minutes later you can't see more than a few metres in front of you. And this happens all day. I was fascinated with it.
We went outside after tea – boy it's cold – and foggy!! We quickly ran back inside!!
Off to bed for another late night
