Me and my friend decided to take time off from our respective works and decided to go to china. We went to a local travel agent and booked immediately. Since it would be hard to apply for a single china visa.. we opted to join a group tour since the travel agent told us that it was easy for them to get a group visa.. The itinerary would be: frist day - Macau, second day - hongkong, third day - shenzhen, china.. Quite toxic 😊

Our flight today is at 10am.. we reached macau at 12 noon.. there is no time difference between macau and phil. our chinese tour guide met us at the airport. we went directly to a local chinese restaurant and as part of our package tour, we were treated to a sumptous meal. Our itinerary for the day is to visit:

1. ruins of st paul; 2. ama temple; 3. ecumenical center (?); 4. fisherman's wharf

After having our lunch, we walked to the nearby senado square (leal do senado) and the place is great for shopping, however, since shopping is not our main concern in macau, what we did was took photographs of the place. we then headed to Ruins of St Paul, there were tourists everywhere.. we did the touristy thing of having our photos taken at every corner 😊 as we were about to transfer to another place (ama temple), our tour guide noticed that one of our companion was missing.. he searched for her for about an hour and a half and we wasted our time by just waiting for her. it turned out that she went on a shopping spree and forgot about the time.. for lack of time, our tour guide decided that we missed ama temple and instead go directly to fisherman's wharf.. well, life goes on.. thats the problem with joining a group tour. you have to put up with your companions, otherwise, that would ruin your day. when we arrived at the fisherman's wharf, it was almost 5pm and the weather was quite cold, but still we enjoyed taking photographs.. Sands macau (biggest casino) is just nearby the fisherman's wharf.

We then went to the border and the place was really crowded since it was saturday.. after crossing the border, another tour guide met us and we boarded a bus going to shenzhen,
china..
