To break it up, I created a new entry just for the photos from the hill tribe trek outside Luang Prabang. It was a 2-day venture that included a hike through the forest and fields to a little Hmong village. The next day we saw the annual Boat Festival and practiced being Mahouts - the people who ride and care for elephants.
