As the 8th hour sitting, waiting for another bus that is unlikely to come, passes the ways in which to keep oneself occupied begin to wear thin. That's why after 104 days travel (my giddey aunt its flying by) and many, many delayed, slow and non-existant buses we felt the time was right to publish a brief portion of our musical repetoire - two of our favourites of the at least.

Please note that 8 hrs is a long time to fill and when you have to do it every few days eye spy can really lose its appeal.

The first, a popular childrens ditty (so I'm told), features a little green frog.

Mmm, went the little green frog one day
mmm, went the little green frog
mmm, went the little green frog one day
mmm mmmm mmm

But we know frogs go
'Clap' la la la la la
'Clap' la la la la la
'Clap' la la la la la
we know frogs go
'Clap' la la la la la
They don't go mm mm mm

Simple enough and annoyingly catching it would seem. We, however, felt in our infinite wisdom/boredom that regionality was

there will be more verses to follow.

Our second mind numbing tune comes from the election episode towards the end of season 7 of The West Wing - it was probably a song before this but we don't care. In fact it came to us as we were trying to remember the real words and had a desire to be a bit mean.

Real Words - seriously we have no idea

do do dooo
do do do doooo

Some of our better attempts

Plants and Trees
There are none of these
Deep in the Heart of Texas

A two pound steak

Steers and Queers
Prejudicial fears
Deep in the Heart of Texas

..... please feel free to help out with extra suggestions or pehaps suggest another song we could butcher and add a slight hint of xenophobia to.

p.s. the bus eventually arrived, was full, didn't let us on and left - oh well that's Laos. There'll be another next week ... maybe
