Bus from Vang Vieng to Phonosovan, then onto Plain of Jars...fields where many stone jars were found. nknown officially what the jars were used for...possibly as burial containers or maybe to drink rice whiskey (tho personally i think the burial is most likely!). very fun day & completly beautiful surrounding, wandering through rice fields & near uxo areas...so many unexploded bombs still in the area & nunmerous people continually getting injured/ killed from them...really sad. happily, many international organisations are trying to help, but much more could be done!

hang with locals making us have rice whiskey..im getting a bit of a taste for this...tastes much like grappa but nicer!!

waited for night bus to next town...
