Loving the Laos Law!!
We decided to fork out and fly to Luang Probang as the 6 hours on a minibus and 7 hours on a longtail/speedboat quite honestly looked terrifying!
We stayed in Luang Probang two nights - a really lovely and quiet little town with french architecture and right on the Mekong river. Spent one day on some mountain bikes and cycled round the town looking at the temples. That night we bumped into a few Irish friends that we had met in Koh Tao. That night we also discovered a Laos Law...they cant serve alcohol after midnight...unless you are in a 10-pin bowling alley! So guess where we were until 3am with some colourful bowling and lots of Beer Laos!
