Chiang Kong / Houei Xai

Chiang Kong,... arrived there arround 17.00. It's a small city on the banks of the huge Mekong river. On the other side is Laos. It took me a while to find a decent place. But it was dorectly on the bans of the river and my terrace was overlooking it. The room otself was basic and nothing fancy to write about. It had a nice restaurant/bar directly underneath and first thing i did was going for a nice cold Cheng(local Thay beer). After beeing refreshed i took of to find a market, get some supplys and spend the afternoon reading. hich i dead,...with a cold Cheng down at the bar. They started playing love local music at arround 22.00 and It cuntinued till aprox. midnight. After that the whole "city" fell quiet and it was time for me to sleep.
