Tokyo 09/05-10/05 karaoke

Japan without karaoke not possible...so last friday it was a good opportunity to finally try a evening of singing. With a group of friends from the Komaba housing we went first to our standard bar to eats some meat, rice and to drink some beers. Around 1 PM we went to the karaoke bar in Shimokitazawa. Such a bar is best described as a hotel, with in the very small rooms some couches, tables (to dance on..😊), a tv, two microphones and a search computer for the songs. Normally the japanese people practice at home and when they've got the rigth voice it's time for karaoke with friends. For us it was sligthly different as you probaly can imagine. We hit the road with madonna, oasis and slowly moved to Nirvana and green day, and finally we ended a few hours later with YMCA...Everybody song, except the waiter, but he brought the beers, so that was fine. It was a great evening with a lot of fun, not for every weekend...😊, but once in a while it is great!!!!
