Flowers in bloom in the East Imperial Garden.
It was warm here today - 80 degrees (F). We started the day off with our free american breakfast, which was pretty good. It was buffet-style and on the 40th floor, so we got a nice view of Tokyo.

Afterwards we took the metro to the Imperial Palace, and walked through the East Garden - which is the only part open to the public. There were some beautiful flowers in bloom, the colors were just amazing.

Because it was warm we decided to go to Ebisu and visit the Sapporo/Yebisu Beer Museum. It was free to go into and they had a small telling of the history and how the beer is made. Nothing like the Guiness museum in Dublin! But they had a tasting room. They have these vending machines you put your money into and select what you want, and they give you a token, and bring it up to the bar, where they fill your order (they have restaurants like this too!)
We got a 4-set sampler to share. They sampler sizes were pretty big. I really liked 2 of the beers - the Yebisu Black beer and the Major Weiss (White beer). They came with

these good beer crackers. Dad got me 2 beer mugs (he wanted me to get some for some reason). I got some Yebisu mugs.

Next stop was Harajuku. From the moment we walked out of the train station it was crowded. There were people everywhere! Tons of young people around, and some had on crazy outfits. Lot's of fashionable peoples. Right across the street from the station is Snoopy Town! It was very cool to have a whole snoopy store (since i love snoopy). We
walked past lots of fun clothing stores, and I got some fun socks. Had lunch at a Wolfgang Puck Express. Very filling food -- served very American style (big portion sizes and everything).

Did some more walking around after lunch - walked a bit in the Park behind the station, and stopped to watch the colorful youth's that hang out at the train station. Then we headed back to the hotel.

For dinner we ate at a nice pizza place. We ate outside since the weather was so nice. We got a ceasar salad and pizza to split. It was delicious. Dad had wanted to try international foods, but wanted to wait

until we got to Tokyo.

Tomorrow is out last full day!! I can't believe two weeks went by already. It'll be nice to be home, but I've had an awesome time here. Everyday has been wonderful and exciting. It feels good to have done something I've always wanted to do 😊
