Episode #4 Feb 19th. fourth day in Fukuoka. rained

Day #4 2월 19일 여행 넷째 날
벳부 시웨이브호텔에서 아침을 먹고 체크아웃함. 벳부역에서 08시 48분에 출발하는 특급 열차 소닉14호를 타고 하카타역에서 11시 56분에 도착함.
제수씨와 해나를 센트랄 호텔에 잠시 머물게 하고 동생과 나는 후쿠오카의 시내(텐진)에 있는 신한은행(한국은행)을 찾아감. 그곳의 일본인 직원으로부터 크레디트 카드로 엔화를 인출하는 방법을 알게됨. 세븐일레븐ATM에서 2만엔을 인출함.
호텔로 돌아와 체크인을 하고 柳川로 갈 준비를 함. 점심은 맥도날드에 가서 햄버거 세트를 4개 구입하고 일본의 사철(私鐵)인 니시테츠후쿠오카역(텐진역)에서 야나가와 행 특급 열차를 타고(13:31) 야나가와로 감. 야나 가와역에 도착(14:10).
우중에 야나 가와 가와쿠다리를 즐김(약 40분) 비가 내리는 야나 가와 가와쿠다리를 경험했다. 나름대로 멋이 있었다. 뱃사공 할아버지는 멋있는 분이다. 내가 일본어로 할아버지한테 “당신 한국에서 유명한 사람입니다.” 하니깐 웃으면서 “그래요!” 했다.
자신의 일과 야나 가와의 가와쿠다리의 역사에 대해서 상당한 자부심이 대단했다. 뜻은 몰랐지만 가와쿠다리 도중에 간간히 들려주는 옛 노래가 듣기가 좋았다. 여기는 벌써 매화꽃이 피기 시작하고 벚꽃들은 꽃망울을 피운 나무도 있다.
우중 야나 가와 가와쿠다리를 마치고 니시테츠야나가와역(16:16)에서 다시 니시테츠 후쿠오타 역(17:10)에 도착함. 텐진 시내 미츠코시 백화점 지하 1층 식품부에서 저녁에 먹을 벤또를 구입하여 저녁을 먹음. 상당히 고급스러운 도시락이었음. 텐진 지하 상가를 둘러봄.
악세사리 점에서 제수씨 귀걸이를 하나 삼.
호텔로 돌아와 호텔 13층 온천장에서 온천욕을 즐김.
현재 야나 가와는 여자 어린이의 행복을 기원하는 사케몬매쿠리 기간임. 동생의 딸 이해나가 이 곳을 경험했음. 야나 가와는 베니스 같은 수상 도시 같음. 이 곳에 사는 사람들의 집은 매우 부자인 듯 함. 이런 곳에서 살았으면 하는 느낌이 많이 들었음. 마을 감싸고 돌고 있는 수로의 물들이 생각보다 깨끗함. (2009.02.19.)

Episode #4 Feb 19th. fourth day in Fukuoka. rained
According to the weather forecast in N.H.K. news, Fukuoka-ken and Oita-ken will be rained or very cloudy. when we got up early, as the weather forecast did, It was cloudy in Beppu. firstly, we had a breakfast in the restaurant, Sea wave hotel. and packed. as soon as we checked out, we went to Beppu station to get on express train, "Sonic #14(for Hakata)". we arrived JR Hakata stn. in Fukuoka on 11:56 sharp. we move to Central hotel by tube #1(Kuko line). when my bro's wife and my niece stayed in the lobby of this hotel, we went to look for a Korean bank(Shinhan Bank, 신한은행, 新韓銀行), Tenjin street by foot. easily, we got it. a Japanese clerk of this bank gave us how to withdraw Japanese yen by credit card issued in Korea. we withdrew 20,000yen from A.T,M in "Seven Eleven(convenient store)". as soon as we back to hotel, we check in. we headed for Yanagawa village.
before heading for Yanagawa, we stopped by "McDonald" to buy four sets for hamburger for lunch. we got on the Nishitetz express train for Yanagawa stn. at the Nishitetz Rail station Tenjin on 13:31. on railway to Yanagawa, we had hamburgers for lunch. It was good. we arrived Yanagawa stn. on 14:10.
It rained in Yanagawa, when we stepped on Yanagawa. we booked Yanagawa vessel cruising trip tickets. we enjoyed Yangawa vessel cruising trip(柳川川下ri) in rain drops. It was very special experience for about 40 minutes. on this cruising,
I said to the grandfa, the boatman of this vessel in Japanese like this "You are famous man in South Korea(Kankokude, Anata sama wa yumaena hitodesoo)" He smiled at us, and said like this " so desoone(really)!". He have a great pride about his job, history of "Yanagawa-gawakutari". although I couldn't understand perfectly his Japanese songs on the cruising, It was very proper to "Yanagawa-gawakutari".
In this here, Yangawa. It started plum blossoms and cherry blossoms very early. I did be the prison of this " Yanagawa-gawakutari" and early plum and cherry blossoms in the rain fall. and I did prayed my niece get a forever happiness for her full life time.
after this cruising, we backed to Yanagawa stn. to get on the Nishitetz express train(16:16) for Tenjin stn(Fukuoka downtown). we arrive the Nishitetz Rail station Tenjin on 17:10. we stopped by the department store, Mitskoshi in Tenjin to buy Japanese lunch boxes for dinner on way Central hotel. they are very deluxe and good taste. and we strode underground passage in Tenjin to look around one more time. my bro bought his wife earrings.
we-I and my bro -enjoyed hot spring(onsen) in central hotel, freely. It was very good.

Postscript : now, It is the term of "Sakenmon maekuri"(the festival for young girl's happiness)in Yanagawa. I think that this village, Yanagawa(water city) is compared to Venice(water city) in Iatly. Yannagawa have clean creeks, good scenes and kind persons. I wish I would live this village.
In fact, My trip was finished. the day after was heading for Busan. I will not forget this clean and tranquil village in Japan and Japanese people's kindness for us.
