On Sunday Adee and Rima organised a driver, food and gifts so that we could go to meet Ibu Lela's mum in Serang. We met with the driver at Tante Pramu and Om Pramu's house and stayed for a drink and cakes. They were both really happy to see us and to see baby Salma. We set out along the tollway and drove a couple of hours into the country. We had lunch at a fish restaurant where people were fishing in muddy ponds for their lunch. The fish was delicous (but ours was not from the pond!). We arrived at Naneks village down a series of narrow roads that got smaller and smaller. She has a beautiful pink house and she cried when we arrived because she couldn't believe it. She is tiny and looks a lot like Ibu. The others ran out to get Ibu's brother so we could meet him too. We sat inside talking and sharing some rambutan, samosa and cakes. A lot of our cousins crowded around the door to meet us too. and then Adee organised to give food and gifts to all the family.
